ATA is new. The infrastructure it runs on is not.

Almuñécar Tennis Club has been operating on these courts for years. In 2025: 600+ sessions delivered, 23 nationalities coached, 43 federated players, maximum 4 players per court throughout the season. The Andalusian Tennis Federation recognised ATC as a Club and School of Excellence in 2025.

ATA is a structured weekly program built on that foundation. Same courts. Same head coach. Same 4:1 ratio. What's new is the format: fixed weekly programs, international booking, video analysis on every session.

We don't have participant reviews yet — they'll come after October 2026 and won't be published until they're real. What we have now is a coaching record and a federation stamp. Ask us for either and we'll send the documentation.

ATA programs are designed for intermediate to advanced adult players. On your arrival day we run a short assessment session to place you in the right group. You won't be paired with players who are too far ahead or behind you.

Performance programs require NTRP 4.5 or above. You'll need to apply first — we review each application to make sure the group is well-matched.

Groups run with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 players per court — one coach never trains more than 4 players at once. This ratio is non-negotiable: if a week fills up, we open a new group with its own coach rather than stretching the existing one. You will get real court time, not ball-machine drills while you wait.

Our adult programs are for players 18 and over. For junior programs (ages 12–17) please contact us directly. The Senior 50+ program has a minimum age of 50.

Absolutely. The majority of participants come alone. Groups mix nationalities, and shared court time and social dinners make it easy to connect.

The nearest airport is Málaga–Costa del Sol (AGP), approximately 70 minutes by road. We can arrange airport transfers on request — ask when you book and we'll include it with your travel guide. There are also bus and car rental options from Málaga.

We recommend bringing your own racket, but loan rackets are available on request at no extra cost. Balls, ball hoppers, and all training equipment are provided. On-site stringing is available.

Almuñécar has one of the lowest rainfall rates in mainland Spain — over 320 days of sun per year. On the rare occasion of rain, we pivot to tactical workshops and video analysis indoors. Program hours are always fulfilled.

Program fees cover on-court training only. We don't sell accommodation directly, but we're happy to recommend vetted local options when you book. Just mention it in your booking request and we'll send recommendations by email.

More than 45 days before your week: full refund of your deposit, or move to another week free of charge.
45 to 14 days: your deposit becomes credit towards another week in the same season.
Under 14 days: the deposit is not refunded — but you can pass your place to another player free of charge up to 7 days before.

Injured? Send us a medical certificate and we move you to another week, whenever you cancel. Full details in our terms. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
